Darwin Park Community Church is a Christian church which bases its message on the gospel ("good news") found in the Bible. We believe in all the historical creeds and confessions of faith of the Christian church. For example, we believe in the four great creeds of the ancient church - the Apostles' Creed, the Nicene Creed, the Athanasian Creed and the Chalcedonian Creed. Our church's Statement of Beliefs gives an overview of our theological affirmations.

Jeff Fry, PastorJeff grew up in Springfield, Pennsylvania in the suburbs of Philadelphia in America. While always having a respect for the Bible and Christianity it wasn't until his freshman year at the University of Delaware that he understood the gospel and began to get serious about his Christian faith. Jeff joined a Christian group on campus and began to grow in his faith. After graduation from university, Jeff worked as an electrical engineer for the Unisys corporation in Tredyferin, Pennsylvania. After three years at Unisys he left to follow his desire for formal training in theology. So, Jeff enrolled at Trinity University in Deerfield, IL, USA where he earned his Master of Divinity degree. During his time at Trinity Jeff took two short mission trips to the country of Poland as part of his practical ministry criteria. Upon finishing his degree at Trinity, Jeff knew that God was calling him to return to help start new churches in Poland which he did in 1995. Jeff spent the next nine years in a church planting ministry in Wroclaw, Poland. Here he met his wife, Sarah, who was teaching English as a Second Language at the Wroclaw School of Languages run by the First Baptist Church of Wroclaw in Poland. Jeff and Sarah were married in Sarah's home church in Northampton, England in 1997 and returned to their church planting ministry in Poland where they helped start New Hope Church in Wroclaw. Due to extended family reasons they moved their church planting ministry to Lichfield, England in August 2003. Jeff and Sarah have two young daughters, Holly and Erin.
Jeff has a passion for evangelical spirituality and especially to help lead church members into spiritual growth and change. He enjoys sports, reading especially history, playing together with his daughters, and has a great affection for Poland and the Polish people.
